Since June of 2003, Total Balance Physiotherapy has been helping clients prevent and manage pain, improve their independence and physical performance, all while promoting health and wellness.

We are pleased to announce that we now offer direct billing services for select insurance providers. If you have extended health benefits through your employer, simply bring your insurance details to your next appointment, and our reception team will assist in submitting the claim on your behalf. *Please note that direct billing availability varies by insurer, and while we will make every effort to process your claim, we cannot guarantee approval.

  • I had an excellent experience at Total Balance Physiotherapy and cannot recommend Kim and Shelby highly enough. After a neck injury, I experienced ongoing dizzy and floating sensations that were very difficult to cope with. I had seen several other professionals who were unable to effectively assess or treat the issue. From the start, Kim and Shelby were incredibly thorough with their assessments, carefully ruling out various potential causes. They always listened to my input, took my experience seriously, and adjusted treatment plans without hesitation when needed. Their kindness, compassion, empathy, and genuine care made a huge difference throughout my recovery. I highly recommend Kim as a vestibular physiotherapist — she has extensive experience with head and neck–related injuries and an impressive ability to hone in on the root of the problem and treat it effectively. Shelby is a wonderful physio assistant that ensures you feel cared for every step of the way. I am very grateful for the care I received and would absolutely recommend Total Balance Physiotherapy.

  • Kim seriously saved my life, and showed me that there was a light at the end of the tunnel throughout my long journey with concussions. I’ve been seeing Kim on and off for a while now and I truly don’t know where I would be without her and her expertise today. I’ve been dealing with concussion challenges for a very long time now and unfortunately hit rock bottom, however, Kim gave me a new sense of hope and showed me through her treatments that the road to recovery was possible. Kim is so full of up to date knowledge, empathy, support, professionalism, and so much more. The time Kim spends with me (and I’m sure all of her clients) is beyond valuable.   • I had recently hurt my back at the gym. Shelby had set up a station at a local dance competition I was attending, and was able to see me for a 10 minute assessment. In those 10 minutes, she was able to give me my mobility back. Shelby gave me some really good tips and exercises to use, and then helped to tape my back up so that I could stand straight again. She then followed up with me and gave me some really good advice and some more exercises to help ease the symptoms of the injury. I would sincerely recommend Shelby to anyone. She was very caring and gentle, and honestly - more than that - was able to give me my physical mobility back - in 10 minutes, no less! I really appreciate the work you do, Shelby.

  • I recently had the worst and most prolonged lower back pain I’ve ever had in my life. Weeks of struggling with even simple movements. I started seeing Andrew for physiotherapy, and I really appreciated his thorough initial assessment. There were some adjustments over a couple of appointments, but very quickly he was able to troubleshoot what was going on, and I was so encouraged when my back health improved. I had forgotten how much more enjoyable life is when you don’t have debilitating pain to deal with! Shelby S was also a big help through this process, and the front desk staff is kind and professional. If you are in pain do yourself a favour and book in!
